DESCRIPTION:DG Pat Peters\, DGE Andy Eads\, and DGN Jon Bullock are delight
 ed to announce the upcoming 2024 District Assembly and Conference\, set to
  take place on April 26th and 27th at the Embassy Suites in Denton. This y
 ear marks a special occasion as both the District Assembly and the Distric
 t Conference will coincide over the same weekend\, aiming to encourage gre
 ater participation from our members. While primarily tailored for Club and
  District Leadership\, these sessions are designed to benefit all Rotarian
 s seeking to enhance their understanding and engagement within their club 
 and the District. Kicking off on Friday\, April 26th\, the event will comm
 ence with a service project dedicated to constructing a peace garden\, to 
 be officially dedicated at 5:00 PM. Friday afternoon will feature targeted
  training sessions for Club President Elects\, President Nominees\, and ou
 r Assistant Governor team. As the evening unfolds on Friday\, attendees wi
 ll have the chance to partake in various events promoting Fun\, Fellowship
 \, and Food\, ensuring a memorable experience. Shifting focus to Saturday\
 , April 27th\, the agenda will center around club committees\, providing p
 articipants with valuable insights to better fulfill their roles within th
 e club. Saturday afternoon will showcase presentations from our Peace and 
 Global Scholars\, along with speeches from high school students participat
 ing in the 4-way Speech contest.  The Conference will conclude with a sole
 mn moment of remembrance for our fallen veterans\, culminating in a dinner
  where we'll acknowledge the outstanding contributions of clubs and indivi
