I studied Sustainable Horticulture at North Central Texas College but most of my native plant knowledge is self-taught. My passion is horticultural conservation and educating the public. My goal is to get as many native plants back into landscapes to help support our diminishing habitats and the wildlife that they support by growing as many common and uncommon native plants and educating all ages in their importance in native food webs. We cannot grow enough plants to support the need so teaching the basics of growing challenging native plants from seed directly to gardeners has become my priority. Gardeners are now the leading warriors on the frontline of conservation.
