Brian Glenn grew up in Denton, TX and after graduating from the University of North Texas in 1985 he went to work for the Denton Fire Department. He retired in 2018 as a Battalion Chief overseeing the Emergency Medical Services for the City. A member of the Denton / Lake Cities Rotary club, he was first introduced to ShelterBox in 2007 when they sponsored a box as an international service project. As they repeated the donation each year, Brian became more familiar with the organization. In 2011 he signed up as an ambassador to share the story with others and began training as a Response Team member. He has assisted with disasters in the Philippines, Fiji, Argentina, Paraguay, Haiti, Indonesia, Morocco and Oklahoma. In 2022 he began serving as the District 5790 International Service Coordinator.
