Contemporary Law Enforcement Programs

He will speak about his law enforcement career and experience and contemporary programs in law enforcement: Accreditation, Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement (ABLE), and Fair and Impartial Policing (FIP).

Dr. Williams retired in 2016 after 25 years of service with the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) which included 18 years of law enforcement supervisory experience and over 20 years of law enforcement teaching experience. Dr. Williams holds a Ph.D. in Urban Studies, Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor and Associates Degree of Criminal Justice.
