Argyle – Working Together for a Better Community

Erika McComis was appointed Town Administrator for Argyle in September 2022 but previously worked for the Town from 2018 to 2021 as Town Secretary, Town Treasurer, and Assistant Town Administrator.  Erika has over 27 years of experience in municipal government in various positions beginning in the City of Bridgeport.  While at the City of Bridgeport, she held the position of Police Administrative Manager, overseeing dispatch, records, animal services, and managing the department’s budget; she was the City Secretary and Court Administrator during her last five years at Bridgeport.   Prior to returning to the Town of Argyle, Erika was the City Manager for Breckenridge, Texas, where she fell in love with the community, but Argyle was her passion.

Erika has two kids with her youngest being a senior at Bridgeport High School.  He plans to attend Hardin Simmons University in the fall to play football and start his coaching career path.  Erika’s husband is a police detective at Decatur Police Department, where Erika is also a part-time dispatcher when she starts missing the fun.
