Assistant Chief David Becker began his career with the Denton Fire Department in April 1996.

Prior to joining the fire department, he served as a Military Police Officer and received an Honorable Discharge after 8 years of service.

His experience in Fire Operations exposed him to the unique culture and diversity of Denton.

His current mission is to provide a safe and healthy community for citizens, visitors, and for Denton Fire Department members as they serve to protect lives and property in our community.
